St. Elizabeth’s Wound Care Center hosting open house

An open house for St. Elizabeth’s Wound Care Center will be held this week to celebrate the center’s third anniversary.

Program Director Jeanette Martineau said the event is also a chance to educate the community about “problem wounds and about the resources that are available to help.”

The open house is from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Wound Care Center, on the first floor of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. The event is open to the public, and the center will have tours of the facility and information about the services.

The center has served nearly 1,000 patients since opening in 2012 for their chronic or non-healing wounds.
