Body found in East St. Louis

A woman’s body was found in the area of 16th Street and Broadway inside a residence in East St. Louis on Thursday morning.

East St. Louis Police detectives said the woman was found by a relative in the morning. The St. Clair County Coroner’s office reported the death as natural.

The woman’s name was not released by authorities.
