Rain returns Sunday, will stick around in metro-east forecast
Showers are likely to start off the week in the metro-east, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a 90 percent chance of light rain Sunday night, mainly after 9 p.m. Before that, it is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 55. The low temperature will be around 47 with wind gusts as high as 25 mph.
On Monday, there is a 40 percent chance of light rain, mainly before noon. It is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 59 and a low around 32. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
More showers are in the forecast for Tuesday night, when there is a 40 percent chance of rain. It will be mostly sunny during the day Tuesday, with a high temperature near 53 and a low around 48.
