Collinsville issues boil order early Monday

Collinsville leaders have issued a boil order for part of town early Monday morning.

The order is centered on Sugar Loaf Road between Illinois 157 and Deer Trail Drive.

The boil order was necessitated by a drop of water pressure in the system. Leaders have not said how long they believe it will be necessary.

Residents are encouraged to bring water used for human consumption to a rolling boil for five minutes before using it.
