Sunny skies and a high of 39 degrees are in the forecast for early Monday in the metro-east.
But there is a slight chance of snow flurries Monday afternoon and evening as the temperature drops toward an overnight low of 24.
The chance of light snow is about 20 percent, according to the National Weather Service.
It will be colder Tuesday with a high of 28. Skies will be cloudy early but are expected to clear up as the day goes on.

Tuesday night, skies will be mostly clear with a low of 15.
The high Wednesday will be 38 under mostly sunny skies. Overnight, skies will be mostly clear and the low will be 29.
