▪ Authorities are trying to determine what caused a man to drive a pickup truck into a Belleville temple.
Witnesses said the truck was barely moving when it hit the building at the intersection of North High and C streets. They suspect a medical issue may have contributed to the crash.
▪ A man and a woman from Belleville have been charged in connection with a residential burglary in Washington County.
Steven Kuklinski, 36, and Rachel Pisarski, 26, are accused of the crime that happened Dec. 9 near Lively Grove.
Kuklinski is in custody and is being held in the Washington County Jail, and Pisarski is in the St. Clair County Jail.
▪ An Addieville man died Friday when the vehicle he was working on in an Okawville auto repair shop fell on him.
David Martin was working at a shop owned by his father-in-law on Coal Ford Road when the accident happened. Authroties said the vehicle fell off a jack.
