Rain clouds may roll in early next week

The metro-east may see some rain early next week, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain Monday, mainly after 9 a.m., and a 30 percent chance in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

The rain clouds will clear up a bit Tuesday, when it is expected to be partly sunny.

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 42 and a low around 31. Monday’s temperature may be warmer still, with a high near 47 and a low around 31.

The high temperature Tuesday will be near 36, and the low temperature will be around 22.
