Belleville Chamber honors citizens, businesses in annual dinner
The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening named its 2015 award recipients, honoring a construction company, a school district and a local philanthropist.
Al Wunderlich, who was a longtime tax accountant for Anheuser-Busch and who co-founded the Franklin Neighborhood Community Association in Belleville, was named the Chamber’s 2015 Citizen of the Year.
Wunderlich co-founded the FNCA after he retired in 1992.
Two Business Excellence Awards also were given. The winners were Holland Construction, located at 4495 N. Illinois St. in Swansea, and Belleville District 118.
