Sunny, warm Friday and Saturday; chance of showers Sunday
Mostly sunny skies and a high of about 48 are expected Friday across the metro-east, according to the National Weather Service.
That’s about nine degrees warmer than the average high of 39 for this time of year in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
The low Friday night will be 38 under partly cloudy skies.
It will be even warmer over the weekend when the high will reach 58 on Saturday under mostly sunny skies and 60 Sunday when there is a 30 percent chance of showers.
Saturday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low of 47. On Sunday night the low will be 31 with a 30 percent chance of showers.
Don’t expect the warmer-than-usual weather to last.
The extended forecast calls for a high of 35 and a chance of snow Wednesday.
