Center for Racial Harmony’s annual meeting is Monday in Belleville

The Center for Racial Harmony’s annual meeting is set for Monday evening.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the center’s Belleville headquarters at 207 N. Second St.

In addition to installing new officers on the center’s board, the organization will discuss the previous year’s accomplishments and announce goals for the coming year.

Some of those goals include continued work toward eliminating the achievement gap among area students, networking with the business, religious and educational communities, continuing the bimonthly dinner meetings, working to promote and increase membership and finding innovative fundraising methods.

The public is welcome to attend the meeting and attendees are encouraged to join the organization.
