Cooler temperatures, chance of rain in forecast for the metro-east
The metro-east is expected to get slightly cooler after the warm weekend, and there is a chance it will see some rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday will be cloudy through mid morning, with gradual clearing. The high temperature will be near 56 and the low will be around 34.
Monday’s high is expected to dip near 49 under partly sunny skies. The low will be around 32.
On Tuesday, there is a 20 percent chance of rain after 12 p.m., and a 40 percent chance in the evening.
It will be partly sunny Tuesday with a high near 50 and a low around 34.
