IDOT to have lane restrictions on I-55

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to restrict the right lanes of Interstate 55 over the Madison County Transit Bike Trail on Friday.

The daytime intermittent restrictions are necessary for geotechnical investigations for proposed bridge improvements.

The MCT bike trail is 5 miles south of Illinois 140 in Madison County.
