Tasty’s Chicago Grill opens in Belleville

After teasing hungry passersby for weeks with a sign that read “almost done,” Tasty’s Chicago Grill is finally open.

Located at 4425 W. Main St. in Belleville, Tasty’s opened for the first time at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Initial plans called for the eatery to open last September.

The restaurant’s classic Chicago menu includes the city’s eponymous style of hot dogs, Philly steak sandwiches, Italian beef and gyros. Add fries or mozzarella sticks on the side and top the meal off with baklava for dessert.

At least for now, the restaurant will operate for lunch and dinner from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This is the third Tasty’s locale for owner Mike Naser, who also operates eateries in Decatur and Peoria.
