Don’t Miss This: O’Fallon 12-year-old survives shark bite

Don’t miss these top stories on Tuesday:

▪ An O’Fallon 12-year-old was bitten by a shark last week while on vacation with his family in Florida.

The attack, which left Michael Wilson with lacerations and a fractured bone in his ankle, happened at Ocean Reef Park in about three feet of water.

▪ Election season is just beginning and already there are allegations of ballot fraud in St. Clair County.

According to election officials, four people found that absentee ballots had been cast in their names.

The fraud happened in Washington Park and East St. Louis, officials said. Votes are encouraged to report anyone trying to solicit their absentee ballot.

About 180 students participated in the tournament.
