BND seeks voters for panel discussion about presidential election

The News-Democrat is putting together a panel of diverse voters from the metro-east to discuss the importance of Illinois in the upcoming presidential primary. David Lightman, a McClatchy political reporter, will moderate the roundtable discussion, and your comments will be used in a future news story. McClatchy is the parent company of the News-Democrat.

The roundtable will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the BND office, 120 S. Illinois St., Belleville, and will last about an hour and a half. If you’re interested in participating, please contact Senior Editor Gary Dotson at (618) 239-2536 or gdotson@bnd.com.

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton won the most states in Super Tuesday, but the underdog candidates also took home enough smaller prizes to remain in the race and fight another day. (Natalie Fertig / McClatchy)
