Don’t Miss This: Belleville murder suspect captured

▪ Investigators with the Major Case Squad have revealed that they have a suspect in custody in connection with a Belleville murder.

The person, whose name has not been revealed by police, is blamed for the death of Nathan Funkhouser whose beaten body was found in a North 40th Street apartment Sunday.

Police said information from Funkhouser’s acquaintances led them to the person in custody.

▪ Another flight has been added to the schedule at MidAmerica Airport.

Allegiant Airlines has announced it will start to fly passengers from the Mascoutah airport to Jacksonville, Fla. beginning May 27.

Tickets will cost as little as $39, according to the airline.
