Voters rejecting Cahokia annexation of Parkfield Terrace
Metro-east residents were asked to vote on eight referendums Tuesday on topics ranging from new taxes to whether Cahokia should annex the Parkfield Terrace subdivision.

Freeburg Fire Protection District
Should $3.95 million in bonds be issued for a new fire station?

Cahokia annexation
Should Cahokia annex the Parkfield Terrace subdivision?
▪ Yes: 85 votes
▪ No: 152 votes

St. Libory
Should the St. Libory Community Unit School District 30 property tax rate be established at 2.4508 percent?
▪ Yes: 6 votes
▪ No: 17 votes

Cottage Hills Fire Protection District
Should the district levy a special property tax rate of .05 percent for the cost of emergency and rescue crews and equipment?
▪ Yes: 236 votes
▪ No: 119 votes

Should the district increase the maximum property tax rate from .3 percent to .4 percent?
▪ Yes: 142 votes

Monroe County sales tax
