Freeze watch for region; snow possible

A freeze watch will be in effect for the region from late Sunday night through Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

For Saturday, the forecast called for partly cloudy skies until early afternoon, then mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon with scattered showers and a high around 50. A north west wind will reach up to 15 mph.

Sunday...Cloudy with chance of rain and snow early in the morning...Then mostly cloudy with chance of rain late in the morning. Partly sunny in the afternoon. High in the mid 40s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Sunday night...Partly cloudy. Low around 30. Northwest wind around 10 mph in the evening becoming light after midnight.

Monday...Warmer. Mostly sunny. High in the upper 50s. Southwest wind around 10 mph.

Monday night...Mostly clear. Low in the lower 40s.

Tuesday...Breezy...Warmer. Mostly sunny. High around 70.

Tuesday night...Warmer. Partly cloudy. Low in the mid 50s.

Wednesday...Breezy. Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. High around 70.

Wednesday night...Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low in the mid 50s.

Thursday...Showers likely and chance of thunderstorms. High in the mid 60s. Chance of rain 70 percent.
