Frozen custard and steakburger restaurant coming to Shiloh
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is busy preparing to open its first metro-east location in Shiloh.
According to a company statement released Monday, the eatery will be located at 3320 Green Mount Crossing Drive in an existing building that used to house a Johnny Rockets restaurant.
“We chose this site in Shiloh because it’s a prime lot with great visibility from I-64,” said Freddy’s CFO and co-founder Randy Simon.
“It’s proximal to family-oriented residential areas, and we feel it’s an all-around great match for our family-friendly restaurant concept. We hope to be an accessible dining option for local residents and area shoppers alike,” Simon added.
After rehab work is completed, the restaurant will seat 100 people with additional patio seating available.
A drive-thru also will be built.
Menu items at Freddy’s include pressed steakburgers, Vienna Beef hotdogs and shoestring fries.
Shiloh Village Administrator John Marquart said he didn’t know when Freddy’s was scheduled to open.
“They got a long way to go yet,” he said Monday.
No one at Freddy’s corporate headquarters in Kansas was available for comment Monday afternoon.
