Clear and seasonable for now, but rain is due midweek
The storm system that soaked the metro-east on Easter Sunday has moved on, paving the way for more docile, seasonable weather for the first part of the week.
Look for clear skies Monday with a high of 61. Skies will remain clear Monday night when the low will drop to 38.
It will be a bit warmer Tuesday, with a high of 63 under mostly sunny skies. It will be partly cloudy Tuesday night with a low of 47.
Expect partly cloudy skies and a high of 68 Wednesday, although there also is a 40 percent chance of rain in the daytime hours. Expect rain, thunderstorms and breezy conditions Wednesday evening.
A chance of rain lingers Thursday before skies clear for the weekend.
