Enjoy the sun today, then prepare for rain

Enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts Tuesday, as more rain and some storms are set to lash the metro-east starting Wednesday evening.

There will be clear skies with a high of 64 Tuesday. Tuesday night, a few clouds will roll in and the low will reach 47.

It will be breezy and warmer Wednesday—a high of 67—but there’s a daytime 40 percent chance of storms. Wednesday night, the low will bottom out at 57 and thunderstorms are likely.

There’s a slight chance at 20 percent for more rain Thursday, when the high will be 67 under mostly cloudy skies. Thursday night’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a low of 41.

There’s a slight chance for rain Friday, but clear skies are expected for the weekend.
