Drying out and warm Thursday, then clear but cooler
A line of rain showers that soaked the metro-east early Thursday morning has passed, and the chance for further rain will diminish throughout the day.
As that chance diminishes, skies also will clear, eventually leading to mostly sunny skies with a high of 76.
A cooldown begins Thursday night, when lows will reach 42 under clear skies.
It will be 59 and mostly sunny during the day Friday and clear and cold Friday night. The low will be 35.
On Saturday, watch for clear skies and a high of 60, but expect breezy conditions. The low under clear skies Saturday night will be 34.
Sunday will be a bit warmer, with a high of 63 under clear skies. Expect more of the same for the first part of next week.
