IDOT to have daytime lane restriction on MLK bridge

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to have daily closures of the right eastbound lane of the Martin Luther King Bridge over the Mississippi River for a week, the agency said.

The closures are scheduled between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to make repairs that were planned as part of the ongoing bridge rehabilitation project, IDOT said.
