Don’t Miss This: Investigation into fire at O’Fallon Peel pizza location continues

▪ O’Fallon’s fire chief, Brent Saunders, says a second dumpster fire at about the same time is not related to a blaze in a dumpster that caused the Peel pizza restaurant to burn Sunday.

Meanwhile, an owner of the eatery vowed to get back in business at the O’Fallon location as quickly as possible. He said 140 employees are out of work as repairs are made.

The ladies are the 2016 recipients of the Rotary Club of Belleville’s Young Women of Achievement Awards.

The event was hosted by Judge Laura K. Grandy, chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Illinois and a Belleville East graduate.
