Cahokia man accused of voting twice in Illinois primary
A Cahokia man has been charged with voting twice during Illinois’ primary election.
Harvey D. Mirgaux, Jr., 62, was charged with a felony in St. Clair County Circuit Court. He was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Mirgaux is accused of knowingly casting two ballots in the same election — the primary held last month.
The case was investigated by the Illinois State Police.
Bail for Mirgaux was set at $5,000. He was not in the St. Clair County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon.
