IDOT to close road in Waterloo

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to close Illinois 156/Park Street east of Illinois 3 in Waterloo beginning Friday, weather permitting, the agency said.

A marked detour is planned to direct traffic around this closure, so workers could put in new pavement.

Work is scheduled to be completed by mid-June, weather permitting, IDOT said.
