Lots of sun, warmer temperatures through weekend
Skies are expected to be mostly sunny Thursday across the metro-east with a high of 70.
That’s about four degrees warmer than the average high temperature of 66 for April 14 in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
It will become partly cloudy Thursday night, when the low will drop to 51, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a 20 percent chance of showers in the forecast Friday, when the high will be 71. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny.
Friday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 51.
The weekend forecast looks good with a high of 72 and sunny skies on Saturday. The low Saturday night will be 52 under partly cloudy skies.
On Sunday, the high will reach 74 under mostly sunny skies. It will be partly cloudy with a low of 54 Sunday night.
