Slight chance of a shower Friday, then a warm and sunny weekend

But skies will clear as the day goes on, according to the National Weather Service, leading to what promises to be a spectacular weekend.

The high Friday will reach 72, six degrees warmer than the average high of 66 for mid April in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Skies will be mostly clear Friday night with a low of 50.

It will be sunny Saturday with a high of 75.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 51.

Skies will be sunny on Sunday with a high of 76.

It will be mostly clear Sunday night with a low of 52.
