IDOT to resurface portion of Illinois 111

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to have lane restrictions on Illinois 111 from just north of St. Clair Avenue to State Street, the agency said.

Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, weather permitting.

The lane restrictions are needed to complete pavement repairs and resurfacing, IDOT said.

Flaggers will be used to maintain two-way traffic through the work zone.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-June, weather permitting, the agency said.
