Nice weather sticks around, but only for one more day
The warm and sunny weather metro-east residents enjoyed over the weekend will last into Monday.
But then things will change dramatically, according to the National Weather Service.
The high Monday will be 81 with winds out of the south gusting at up to 21 mph.
A slight chance of showers will move into the St. Louis metropolitan area Monday night when the low will drop to 57.
The likelihood of rain will be much greater Tuesday when the high will be 74. There is a 40 percent chance of storms and thunderstorms and showers after 1 p.m.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase to 50 percent Tuesday night, when the low will be 55.
There is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day Wednesday, when the high will be 69.
Wednesday night, the chance of thunderstorms remains at 60 percent while the low will drop to 56.
