Don’t miss these top stories Monday on BND.com:

▪  Mourners line the streets to pay their respects to a Dupo girl whose mother has been accused of murdering her.

“Princess” Emily Rose Perrin was laid to rest Saturday.

Her mother, Mary B. Lockett, is in the St. Clair County Jail on $1 million bail. Authorities say that she suffocated her 4-year-old daughter who had cystic Fibrosis, on the day before her birthday.

▪  Proponents of relocating a federal spy agency to the metro-east have focused on contamination at rival site in St. Louis as they try to get a decision overturned that would place the development in Missouri.

St. Clair County leaders also point to numerous mistakes made in an environmental impact statement that may have led the government to opt for the St. Louis site over one near Scott Air Force Base.

A final decision about the base is expected May 2.

▪  Five people are without a home after a Saturday fire in Belleville.

The fire started in a home in the 100 block of South 11th Street. It is believed to have been started by an electrical problem and caused $30,000 in damage.

The Belleville Fire Department saved the structure from being a total loss by arriving within two minutes after the call came in and then getting the flames under control in less than 15 minutes.
