MetroLink work to affect Shiloh-Scott Station riders
Metro-east light rail passengers should be aware of repairs that could alter their travel plans this week.
Due to maintenance work, eastbound service will end at the College Station in Belleville from Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. until close. Riders who typically park and board MetroLink trains at the Shiloh-Scott Station are urged to park at the College Station adjacent to Southwestern Illinois College instead.
Eastbound passengers who need to travel to the Shiloh-Scott Station will have to get off the train at the College Station and take a shuttle bus for the rest of their trip.
From Tuesday through Friday, work will take place on the rails between the Shiloh-Scott and College stations from opening of service until 5:30 a.m. Trains will travel on one set of tracks, which means that service will run 5-10 minutes behind schedule.
