Severe weather is possible Monday through Wednesday across the metro-east with thunderstorms that could produce high winds and hail likely each day.
There is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms in the forecast for Monday, according to the National Weather Service. The high will be 75.
While scattered showers are possible throughout the day, the most likely time for storms will come after 2 p.m. Winds will gust at up to 21 mph and large hail is possible.
The likelihood of thunderstorms will increase to 80 percent Monday night, when winds will blow at up to 22 mph and the low will drop to 62.

On Tuesday, tThere is a 50 percent chance of scattered storms, some that could become severe. The high will be 78.
Tuesday night the chance of storms will drop slightly to 40 percent. Skies will be partly cloudy with a low of 63.
There is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms again on Wednesday when the high will be 86.
Wednesday night, there is a 50 percent chance of storms with a low of 59.
