Members of the National Association of Letters Carriers in the metro-east will be collecting food and personal care items on Saturday, May 14 as part of its 24th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Letter carriers will be dropping off bags for residents to fill with food and personal care items. The bags will be placed in or next to their mailbox on May 14 before their usual mail delivery time.
If for some reason a resident does not receive a bag from their letter carrier, those who are interested in participating may use whatever bag or box they have available. The bag or box should be placed in or near the resident’s mailbox on May 14. No special bag is necessary to participate in the food drive.
