Winner of $1,000 Art on the Square drawing announced

One family will have some extra funds to use during Art on the Square this weekend.

John and Angie English of Belleville won $1,000 in Art Cash to use during the weekend festival on downtown’s Public Square in a drawing that is new this year.

Anyone who purchased Art Cash gift certificates through 3 p.m. Thursday were entered into the drawing. News-Democrat President and Publisher Jay Tebbe drew the Englishs from among the entries at 4 p.m.
