Flames consume Kitchen Table restaurant in Cahokia

Fire seriously damaged a Cahokia restaurant early Tuesday morning.

A passing police officer saw flames at the Kitchen Table restaurant at about 12:20 a.m. and called firefighters, according to reports from first responders.

No one was believed to be inside the business at 713 Range Lane at the time it caught fire, and no one was injured battling the blaze.

Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire ignited.
