Don’t Miss This: One in custody after Fairview Heights double shooting

▪ A suspect is in custody after a double shooting left one person dead and one injured in Fairview Heights.

The crime happened in the 100 block of Ashley Drive and prompted the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis to be activated.

Authorities said an altercation led to the shooting outside an apartment building on a dead-end road.

The online retailer has pulled permits in Edwardsville for what some speculate could be a planned distribution center. Meanwhile, St. Louis Regional Freightway names the company as a tenant at a facility it plans to build there.

▪ An East St. Louis theater was shut down during an early morning raid.

According to authorities, the Colony Theater was illegally showing adult films while selling liquor without a license and operating without a business license.
