MetroLink ramps up service for St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals games

MetroLink will provide extra service Monday night as sports fans converge on downtown St. Louis to watch the St. Louis Blues face the San Jose Sharks in the NHL’s Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Western Conference Final shortly after 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center and to see the St. Louis Cardinals open a three-game set with the Chicago Cubs at 7:15 p.m. at Busch Stadium.

Fans can park at any of the 21 free parking lots located at MetroLink stations in both Missouri and Illinois, and purchase a round-trip MetroLink ticket for $5 to ride to any of the six MetroLink stations serving downtown St. Louis, including the Stadium MetroLink Station outside Busch Stadium and the Civic Center MetroLink Station near the Scottrade Center, Metro said in a news release.

Passengers headed to the Scottrade Center from the Civic Center Station should note that the north pathway from the station is closed due to construction, so they will exit the MetroLink platform up the stairs to 14th Street and then head north to get to the Scottrade Center.
