Strong to severe storms possible in metro-east Monday night

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Monday night that includes the metro-east.

According to the forecast, there might be isolated thunderstorms through Madison, St. Clair and Monroe counties this evening. Thunderstorms are also likely Wednesday and Wednesday night.

The Memorial Day storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds.
