Emergency repairs are planned on Thursday along westbound Interstate 64 near to Scott Air Force Base, the Illinois Department of Transportation said.
The ramps connecting Illinois 158 to the northern side of I-64, as well as the right lane of westbound I-64 are scheduled to be closed, so crews can make emergency pavement repairs, IDOT said.
Work scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic delays are expected in the area, and motorists are encouraged to to use alternate routes or allow for additional travel time in and around Scott Air Force Base, IDOT said.
