Cloudy skies and a chance of thunderstorms are in the forecast for the metro-east Friday.
And it’s likely wet weather could continue into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a 20 percent chance of rain Friday with the most likely time coming after 10 a.m. The high will reach 81.
Showers become more likely Friday night when the chance of rain will increase to 50 percent. The low will be 55.
Showers and thunderstorms are again likely Saturday when the chance of rain will be 60 percent. The high will be 79.
Things will finally be dry on Sunday when skies will be mostly sunny with a high of 79. Winds will gust at up to 22 mph.
Skies will remain mostly sunny Sunday night when the low will be 60.
