The high will reach 81, according to the National Weather Service, with a breeze from the northwest at up to 11 mph.
It will remain mostly clear Tuesday night with a low of 54.
Skies will again be sunny Wednesday, when the high will be 79.
A few clouds will move into the area Wednesday night, when the low will drop to 61.
The next time there will be a possibility of rain in the St. Louis metropolitan comes Thursday, when there is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms.
The high will reach 88, about four degrees warmer than the average high temperature for this time of year.
It will be partly cloudy Thursday night with a low of 69.
The warming trend is expected to continue into the weekend with a high of 93 expected Friday, 94 Saturday and 92 Sunday.
