Don’t Miss This: Pair of crashes minutes apart send four to hospital

Don’t miss these top stories Monday on BND.com:

▪ Four were injured in a pair of crashes minutes apart Saturday at Illinois 158 and Douglas Road in Millstadt.

According to Illinois State Police spokesman Calvin Dye Jr. said the intersection is “one of the main locations we get called to crashes.”

▪ Fire destroyed the Apple Valley Motel over the weekend in Mitchell.

The blaze involved about a dozen rooms at the motel at 701 E. Chain of Rocks Road.

No one was injured in the fire which is still under investigation.

▪ Some Scott Credit Union members may have to get new debit cards.

According to the organization, it has been informed by Visa that some of the cards may have been compromised.

People affected by the security breach will received a call from Scott Credit Union informing them that their card will be replaced.
