Power outage disrupts St. Louis commute
A power outage in downtown St. Louis could disrupt the commute of metro-east residents.
An underground fire near Busch Stadium has caused electricity to fail in a large portion of downtown that includes City Hall and the Carnahan Building.
MetroBus routes downtown will not be serviced east of Tucker Boulevard because of the outage.
Passengers are advised to connect with their MetroBus route at 18th and Clark Streets near Union Station. Passengers can continue their trip east into downtown from 18th and Clark Streets by connecting to MetroLink at the Union Station MetroLink Station and riding to the Stadium, 8th & Pine, Convention Center or Laclede's Landing MetroLink Stations.
MetroLink light rail trains have not been affected by the outage.
