Dad deserves a break: Cooler temps in the forecast

We’re in for a little break from the heat.

The forecast for Saturday called for a high around 90, with sunny skies. For Father’s Day on Sunday, the high will be around 92, with more sunny skies.

Temperatures will heat up a little on Monday, when the high will reach the mid-90s. But then Tuesday and Wednesday will bring some more relief from the heat, with highs in the upper 80s.

Today...Sunny. High around 90. East wind around 10 mph.

Tonight...Clear. Low in the mid 60s to lower 70s. East wind around 10 mph in the evening becoming light after midnight.

Sunday...Mostly sunny. High in the lower 90s. Light wind in the morning becoming south around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday night...Mostly clear. Low around 70. South wind around 10 mph.

Monday...Mostly sunny. High in the mid 90s. Light wind in the morning becoming southwest around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Monday night...Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low in the lower 70s.

Tuesday...Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the upper 80s.

Tuesday night...Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low in the mid 60s.

Wednesday...Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the mid 80s.
