Chance of storms, high of 92 in metro-east Friday
The National Weather Service predicted a slight chance of thunderstorms in the metro-east on Friday, but otherwise, the weather was set to be partly cloudy at the start of the day to becoming mostly sunny with a high of 92.
The chance of precipitation was at 30 percent by Friday morning. The area could see isolated showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. Friday and then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
Friday night is set to be partly cloudy with a low of 68.
