Edwardsville to close section of University Drive for sewer removal

A section of University Drive, between Esic Drive and Devon Court, will be closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning on July 11.

The Edwardsville Public Works Department will be removing and replacing the storm sewer. They expect the daily closure to continue through July 22.

Until then, warning signs and alternate routes will be posted throughout the area for motorists.
