Strong storms possible Monday in metro-east
A hazardous weather outlook issued early Monday by the National Weather Service said a few strong to severe storms are possible in the metro-east. A flood advisory was also put into effect until 8:45 a.m. Monday in St. Clair and Monroe counties.
The National Weather Service predicted a 50 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 p.m. Monday. Otherwise, Monday is set to be mostly cloudy with a high of 89.
Monday night has a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms in the metro-east with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 72.
