Scattered rain, storms possible Wednesday in metro-east

Wednesday’s forecast calls for scattered rain and thunderstorms in the metro-east, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday night...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low around 70.

Saturday...Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the mid 80s.

Saturday night...Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low around 70. Temperature rising into the 70s by midnight...Then near steady overnight.

Sunday through Monday...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the mid 80s. Low around 70.
