Metro-east might see more rain, thunderstorms soon

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, but by Monday, the metro-east could be seeing showers and thunderstorms again, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a slight chance of storms throughout the week ahead. High temperatures are expected to be in the 80s and 90s.

Tonight...Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Northeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Monday...A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Monday night...Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday....Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Tuesday night...Partly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Wednesday...A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.

Wednesday night...Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Thursday...A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.
